Matter, Molecules, Pizza, and a FREEBIE!

Well, I'm totally pregnant .... WOO HOO! God is good. I'm thrilled, freaked out, beyond excited, scared out of my mind, and basically ecstatic! To all mothers out there, I am accepting prayers and advice for a first time momma! I'm not the only one on my team that is pregnant though. We are starting to tell people not to drink the water in our hall, seeing that 2 of us got pregnant within a month of each other:) Ha. It's great to be able to share this with a friend. We discuss all types of things - aches, pains, nausea, excitement, exhaustion, and terror! Thank the LORD for her!

Well, apparently, my little poppy (baby) has given me back a little bit of energy! I could have cleaned my house. I could have updated my plans or blogged more. Here is what I did with it.

So, my team doesn't really like the plans that we have in our curriculum. I mean, it's okay, just really wordy. So, I took what we needed to learn and created a journal with SIMPLE lessons! Also, the journals are based on TN 2nd grade, but could be adapted if needed!
It has 15 lessons with 15 experiments/activities! There are 2 journals in this bundle (one for students and one with lessons for you, the teacher!) My kids have ADORED this! I hope your kiddos do too!
Here it is!

Now, here is a simple and CHEAP workstation to reinforce compound words. These are classroom tested and loved! All you have to do is print, laminate (if you want), cut, and use! Woo hoo! I'm all about working smarter, not harder.

Now, for those of you who have already taught all the matter you want, but would like a fund hands-on workstation, you need this little set. It is based on molecules and their movement within each type of matter. Go to my TpT to check out what else is part of this set :) Oh, and did I mention ... it's only $1.00. I know ....

And now (drum roll please!) the F*R*E*E*B*I*E*!*!*! This is a little late, but we are still celebrating African American Month! This is a 5 day writing activity based on the dreams our kids have for different aspects of their life. I haven't used this yet (it's for next week:), so if you download it, please let me know how it went!

Happy Tuesday, y'all!
